gearbox mounting plate

Do you know if the gearbox plate on vixen s4(the last one) or early 1600M is pure TVR or modified ford (which model cortina mk2, mk3, capri or why), or can I made a new one with 4 holes for fixing to the chassis and 2 other for the mount and what is the plate thickness on your car.
