Touring cars for a young driver?
Discussion
Hallo all, I'll keep it short and sweet.
Having driving nearly a year now I've decided a touring car is what suits my daily life the best.
I'll have a years NcB when I go to insure so any ideas of what cars are viable?
gt's generally won't work as they have performance aspects but anything with space and that's comfortable would be perfect.
Cheers

I'll be the responsible one on pistonheads, what do you mean by touring car? An estate?
cheers matey, and I just generally mean any sort of car with decent luggage space that would bode well on long journeys/road trips. The issue here is finding one with an engine I'll get insured on.The two above would be great if I had an extra ten grand for insurance but I don't see that happening haha
I'd seriously consider a hatch. One of my friends almost bought a dreary estate until he realised he could fit his bikes in a CTR.
Unless you're moving absolutely massive stuff I think you'll be pleasantly surprised what you can fit in a little hatch. Used my Clio to move 4 11J wheels and 6 295/18 tyres last week. Absolutely ideal

It's not so much for everyday lugging but more so for the camping/road trips that I need the space. I thought about just a hatch with a top box but my teenage/skint wallet can't handle the economy reduction from that especially as it would be for long trips.
Unless there are hatched with larger amounts of luggage space than most?
