I need to add trackable numbers to some of our marketing materials, particularly emails that we send out. For reasons beyond me, adding any additional numbers to our phone system will apparently cost £££. All I want is a number(s) that I can use on our marketing materials which allow me to record how many calls come in. I don't need anything else tracking.

What are my options?

https://www.twilio.com

It's relatively cheap, and simple enough to get a number in place and forwarding on to your actual number. They provide all kinds of metrics for you once setup.

I've used Twilio for years. I haven't done exactly what you want but I'm 99% sure it's possible. Dead cheap too.

I work in enterprise telephony.

What phone system do you have?

Twilio is good. You could also use an NGN pointing to your national number, and I'm sure the carrier will provide a breakdown of numbers received if you ask them nicely.

Another vote for Twilio, I use it for my business to track call volumes, to receive calls, and to forward them to different landline numbers around the UK. You can even build virtual switchboards with Twilio Functions now.

Thanks Guy, I will give it look

I actually went for Soho66 as their site was much easier to navigate. Twillio looked a bit mind blowing!
