Looking to change mortgage provider and these are comming out cheapest.

Any one any experience with them?

Not a mortgage but current savings/account. I recently thought I'd switch my current account to take advantage of their £250 bonus offer. BIG MISTAKE.
After setting up the account I transferred some funds into the account, which initially showed as credit. Then the money simply disappeared. It takes around an hour to get somebody to answer a call and they have denied all knowledge and state their systems show no money was ever received.
My existing bank have confirmed that the money was paid into the correct account and given a faster payment reference. Yorkshire just state no money was received. I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

Yorkshire BS and Yorkshire Bank are not the same Organization.

The £250 bonus offering is from the bank. And I thank them for the opportunity to give me money for nothing.....and so does Mrs 33q

I have had a little irritation from the Y Building Society of late but once I finally got the right form from them they sent me a cheque by return

I recently used YBS for my new mortgage when moving house. I found them straight forward, quick and easy to deal with. Their online system was good, and once through that stage it was easy to talk to an actual underwriter, and the same actual person throughout the process be it phone or email. It seemed to me a rather more human based process compared to a lot of remote / computer / autonomous based approaches.

Far better than several alternatives I spoke to, I'd happily use them again.

I have flexible tracker mortgage with YBS for 10+ years. I've found them fine with my regular varying of over payments and a brief payment holiday.
