Hi, can anyone help regarding my Citroen 2005 c2, it was running fine but after it had been left stood for 6 weeks it judders all the time sometimes when it's juddering bad the engine check light comes on. I Would appreciate any help with this problem I have with my car.

Symptoms would fit a misfire - perhaps moisture in the engine bay causing an ignition fault? Suggest you check the HT leads and things they connect to are clean and dry, and try again. If it's a persistent misfire you might have fouled the plug on the affected cylinder in which case you'll still have trouble after you have corrected the original fault - new plugs ought to get you back running properly.

Unfortunately the car is in chester and I live in Mansfield which is 100 miles away but I will be there on Thursday and I will change the spark plugs and check for damp as you have advised. Thanks for this

Well, as the OP is going to start "changing stuff" like spark plugs, we have established it is a petrol smile

No, we've guessed... And I'd hazard a guess that there's more diesel C2s than petrols.
