I know it's from a chinese brand, but this watch intrigued me.

How do you read it? The hours are in the center and the minutes on the outer rim but still...

My best guess is it's ten past two?

I've worked out the minutes and the two larger hands but can't wrap my head around the two smaller hands for the hour ring?

Edit. Think i've figured it out.
10 past 2

Watch fails it’s primary function. Way to go.

I thought that at first, but it's one big hand, check the minute markers, two rows in the upper half.

By that measure, I only need my casio. Everything else I have is worse at keeping /showing time.

Wow ... Ouch my eyes .. I'd say 10 past 10

Of course a watch should be quick & simple to read
Just a simple Vasco single hander 24Hr dial today (or yesterday)

I'd like a 24h in the collection.
Why is it called a single hander?

A watch should be instantly readable, hence I have one of these for daily use.

ZasPak, It's called a single hander due to the time being told by only one hand
Similar to Meistersinger, Botta-Uno or Slow,
https://vasco.watch/en/boutique/indomptable-74/
The large hand just after 12 is only hand and it reads the Hours and you read the minutes by judging how far between the 15 minute increments travelled by the hour hand - Of course this one hand watch has a second hand???
But then my Meistersinger has the one 'hour' hand for time telling and minute & second hands for the chrono function .... Only I could buy a single hand watch with Hours, minutes and seconds wobble
Reading 4:14 (ish)

Edited to add .... As you started a thread on it ..If you like it ... Go buy it ... every one should have an interesting discussion watch & my Vesco create discussion where people look, chat and try on in honest inquisitiveness where as if I was wearing a Sub the thought Knob would probably be more appropriate (sadly)

With a Germanic name 'Stührling', the word 'Japan' on the dial, head office in NY, USA (company website) and if OP is correct, a Chinese firm.

No wonder the watch face is so confused.

I really like that Vasco although both it and the Meistersinger would be even better without a chrono/seconds hand ? Very good VFM too. Nice example of giving the finger to the modern life obsession of living your life accurately "to the nearest minute". Quite happy for my life to be "somewhere between the hour and half-past" yes

tbh... I don't know if they should be classified as complications.

I thought:
A complication is everythign a watch does beyond telling the time.

On top of that, the first watch, instead of a hand mounted it just has a rotating dial mounted. It's actually pretty simple if you look at it.

Ten past ten – minutes hand is unequal length, to place each end on the outer and inner minutes arcs.
Hours are read from the red triangle above the brand name, at 6 o’clock.
Fairly straight forward to work out just by spending a short while looking at what’s where.

WTF the Damasko wins hands down for me (you could take off the crazy second hand 'complication' and the day/date too!).
