Volvo S40 - cash price from dealer?

Seen a nice S40 i want to buy for my friend, its going for £6500 from a dealer (not volvo dealer), is there much haggle room for a cash sale these days?

To answer your question though your best bet is to compare the S40 against similar cars on the market and negotiate on that, i.e if it's the cheapest you can find don't expect much off, if it's one of the dearer cars get a good deal on it.

Cash makes no difference, If its priced well and is rare then try for £6250

not many to choose from petrol wise, just 2 litre.
