I'm looking for a watch for my other half (birthday), something elegant, classy, definitely not blingy.
She is specifically not fussed about it being a "proper" watch, so no need for ladies Rolex etc.

However I'd like to get her something nice and classy i.e. not a DKNY/Giorgio Armani/insert fashion brand of choice, neither am i looking for a Rolex/Patek Philippe for her (she wouldn't be at all fussed).

Suggest away pls as I am drawing a bit of a mental blank...

I was in this same position last year and ended up being my wife a lovely Tag Heuer. They have some really nice ladies watches. Have a look on watchfinder as you will get a lot of watch for £1000 on there.

Have a look at Oris, Longines, Baume and Mercier, Raymond Weil and Junghans.

Don't forget that Dom Hackett may be able to get a good deal on some or all of these brands.
