Can anyone recommend a place to purchase a set of aftermarket engine mounts.

Design911 have a set of RSS ones but they are asking £400+ for those which seems steep.

I think Design911 opt in for Black Friday deals - you could try waiting until end of month to check

Hartech do re-conditioned OEM ones, I think. They're usually pretty reasonable and good price.

Are these the same round style ones with the hydraulic fluid which is the same as 986 gearbox mount? If so you can refurb these and fill the voids with poly material.

Gearbox mount is different. Powerflex have a polyurethane kit that fills the void you mention.

All the kits I've seen fall in to the £400 mark, even if you factor in exchange rates.

Just did a quick Google and it does seem the 996 engine mounts are what is used on 986 as gearbox mounts.

You can do this yourself pretty cheaply.

Problem is that the 996 engine mounts sag. You could possibly full the void to stiffen them up but will still be droopy
