The time to bite the bullet had come, the 12,000 mile/ 1 year service.

Based on recommendations from other PHers I booked in with the Offord Motor Company and am glad I did.

Very nice people, courtesy car (the chipped, flowed SAAB Turbo), phone calls to keep me updated and a reasonable (by TVR standards) bill at the end.

Their labour charge of only £40 per hour is even cheaper than my very, very good non-TVR garage.

They didn't even get sniffy when I said I couldn't afford to have one or two little jobs done right away and asked them to stick to the absolute necessities for now.

I'll be going back there, no worries.

Yep...just spent £2500 with them...couldn't fault them.

I had a Saab 9000 courtesy car with interstellar galactic mileage....went like hell

Have to agree with all the above, great indie and great people.
Like you I also ran out of budget and they were more than happy to either offer cheaper solutions or recommendations without any pushiness.

I had the red SAAB.

Red ones are faster (in SAAB-land whereas in TVR-land everyone knows blue ones are the fastest).

I think it was somewhere in the region of 1200 fitted, geometry setup & corner weighted. But I had a load of other stuff done at the time & can't quite remember what cost what.
