Any brands that work from personal experience? Prices? Where do you get them?

I have used Nytol before. Its reasonably priced (sub £10) and you can get it from most pharmacies. Be warned though....you feel like shyte in the morning.

Nytol do a herbal version, never used it though.

Infact the ordinary nytol aren't propper "sleeping tablets", they just have a side affect that makes you drowsey.

Can I suggest you look at :www.numarkpharmacists.com/page_conditions_a_z/page_insomnia.html
It depends on what the problems in sleeping are caused by.
Hope that helps.

Valerian is used quite a lot in the Continent as said before, it works for some people. My personal experience is that it gives awful nightmares and made me wake up even more tired

I tried some herbal ones and the ingredients seemed to consist almost entirely of lettuce. Kinda worked though.

If I want a good night's sleep it's got to be a bath followed by Horlicks and a bit of a read in bed
Or 12 pints seems to send me off quite well too, though there is the side effect of having to do Red Rum impressions every hour. There's also the fun game of working out how I managed to take some clothing off in every room, and what on earth I was trying to cook.

For me; yes. For her; uncontrolable giggling.
