I HAVE drunk it, I was visiting an American girlfriend, (platonic unfortunately), who was studying psychology at Université Toulouse Jean Jaurès, Toulouse, France, and she got me into a party where another student turned up with two bottles of rosé, and two of red.
I arrived with a couple of bottles of Crown Royal, Canadian premium whisky, and was immediately labelled by the French and Lebanese students there, as M’sieu Capitaliste.
I couldn’t argue about it, they were all 20 something poor students, (allegedly), and I was around 37, and had bundles of Francs, this was pre Euro.
