Nextbase dashcams any good ?

Looking at getting a dashcam to record my journeries and also to protect myself should I ever be involved in an accident. Was in currys today and was looking at the nextbase 312GW as it has built in wifi and allows me to download data via the app.

Has anyone got this dashcam and his reliability is it ? Any others you'd recommend ?

Not got that specific model, but have 3 Nextbase cameras and they seem to work fine. Video quality is good.

I've got one and it's been perfectly fine. Potentially dash cam with a battery isn't ideal, some of them have have capacitors to allow the camera to shut down when powered off. Having said that I've not had a problem with mine in a year and a half.

I downloaded some footage from a 412 model a few days ago and was impressed with the (daytime) quality.

How is the camera at night ? Does it give a clear enough picture ? Is there any other sites I should try to see if I can get it cheaper ? The cheapest place so far for me is eBay at £87.49.
