We had a 2.0TFSi for the best part of 5 years (was a 59 plate) & it was a fantastic car. That said, the fuel consumption as mentioned above was woeful & rarely exceeded 30mpg. Our's was S-Tronic & pretty much fully loaded with options.
The B&O is excellent for an in car system, however the Pano roof was always a bug bear as for the whole time we had it their were constant creaks & rattles which could only ever be fixed temporarily with a greasing & the noises very quickly returned.

Yup, I have an A5 2.0T quattro at the moment (same engine, drivetrain, blah blah but less weight) and get 32 on my commute, driving pretty sensibly. It's a lovely smooth, quiet, and torquey thing, but the economy is pretty crap.
Late Q5s are very well sorted in quality terms and I'd look out for heated seats, B&O, and decent wheels as they look weird on little standard ones.
3.0 V6 TFSI isn't noticeably worse on fuel, surprisingly.
