I didn't get an owners manual with my recently purchased S3c.

I've searched on here and the only link I've been able to find seems to have expired.

Does anyone have any pointers?

I'd be gutted in a few years if I've not spotted some 'conveniently located' secret buttons or switches banghead

Thanks all

Nick

Don't worry Nicky,
The owner's manual is not brilliant anyway, even though somebody on here can probably point you towards a pdf copy.

Far better to get hold of a copy of Steve Heath's "TVR S Series" ( The "Bible").
The second edition is better and more comprehensive than the earlier one.

If you want more in-depth workshop manuals, get hold of the Haynes manuals for the Ford Sierra 2.8/ 2.9 or Granada ( ditto ) That covers most of the running gear.
For the rest, just browse the wealth of information on this forum ( Useful Links )

Anything else, just ask! We try to be a helpful bunch on here, and there is a wealth of knowledge just waiting to be tapped.

ETA I think TurboTony on here has the pdf copy of the owners manual.

Thanks guys - absolute stars as usual smile

My Steve Heath S bible (2nd edition) arrived today - great publication!!

To quote Steve if I may from his Preface "...it bridges the gap between the owner's handbook and a workshop manual..."

So I felt I was missing the owners handbook for my S3...

Will check out the link to the pdf above... I'm convinced there are hidden gadgets in the car somewhere!!

Thanks again.

You'll find that's also what this Forum does.

Hidden gadgets? If you've found the instrument panel dimmer switch, that's about it.

Unless you have purchased the S3 "Stealth" variant.
In which case you should already have had the full Special Briefing Course. ...

Mum's the word...

Welcome to 'S' ownership Nicky: you'll have lots of fun.

Mr Heath and his book are wonderful, but his wiring diagrams won't help with engine wiring on a 'C' car. There's lots of help on here, though you'll have to search for it. Let me know if you need a diagram.

If you will forgive me: dont treat the 'Bible' as absolute 'gospel'!!! It really is excellent but there are a couple of errors (someone recently came across one of them when trying to take out their gearbox!). If in doubt, ask, one of us will have had the same problem to deal with. Enjoy!!

I second the 'arguable' - if it wasn't for the advice in this forum I'd be surrounded by a dismantled gearbox smile

You don't need to wander too far from the pasture to find these.
I recently added LINKS to both manuals to the USEFUL LINKS section of this forum ....
