Stop it. F@ck off home if you want to talk. I pay my money to hear the artist who is up there on stage performing their work for our enjoyment and enlightenment. Have some cocking respect you c@nts. If you want to ruin it, pay me my money back at the end of the night and you can talk as long as you want. Or until i smack you with a chair or other suitably heavy object, whichever is the sooner.

Just had to get that off my chest.

I've the views on people who seem to go to the cinema to eat or have a chat.

If it's a standing-up-type-gig, then start doing exagerated pelvic-thrusting moves in their general direction and they soon bugger-off from your immediate vicinity.

Ahh, day trippers. They don't bother me too much any more as they're usually tucked up in bed by 2am when the club really gets going.

Did you go to Home for the 10 minutes it was open?

Top DJ, top tunes, stunning sound system, filled to the rafters with utter utter w*nkers.

Grrr.

No, never went as going to a 'super club' full of people who were there to be seen rather than go clubbing didn't really appeal.

Seems like I didn't lose out

Don't be silly.

People talking at gigs would be the equivalent, and lets use your library example, of someone scribbling on a book as you're reading it.

And when I say talking I obviously mean shouting, as they can't hear themselves beacause of.....well, f@ck me, because of the MUSIC!

Don't hold back Neil!

I got really pissed off when I went to see Faithless a few months ago. I got knocked flying several times by people as they walked to the front of the arena (and this was before the band came on stage. I'm all for jumping around at a gig once the band are playing.) At one point I just shouted, "Am I in invisible or something?" Got a few laughs that did.

I've have absolutely astounded in the last year or so to see people a)have their phone ring in the cinema and instead of scrambling to turn it off, actually answer it, and b)make a call in the middle of a film!

What the fk ever happened to manners?

You're obviously going to gigs where it's too quiet mate.

Anyway I have to defend this - I've met several of my (ok now ex!) girlfriends at gigs, so frankly if it's a choice between getting laid by new hot chick and listening to something being done less well than on the CD I have at home then sorry but I'd rather have a conversation.

If you care that much about the band get down the front of the gig into the action where if anyones ahving a conversation you can headbutt the fu**er...

Obviously I'm not talking about stadium bloody rock bands am I?

I went to a gig the other week and I was stood near the back, near to the mixing desk. These three nobheads were talking so loudly the engineer had to tell them to shut the up as he couldn't hear the band to get the levels right. Then they got all handbags-at-dawn "ooooh, what's his problem...." etc. Morons.

Like I said, if you want to talk, a gig is not the place. There is NO excuses. None.

ok neil - thats pretty poor - I used to be an engineer at gigs and I've certainly 'got the heavies' in to remove people making a nuisance of themselves around the desk :grrrr:
