Spray cheese is a staple for much of the USA.

And, having said that, don't knock it until you try it. My memory is a taste similar to the filling of cheesy footballs.

It's not unpleasant but probably not a food group.

I'm sure there must be far, far worse. Just watching "Man vs. Food" shows some of the horrors.

But, then, we have deep fried mars bars, Yorkshire pudding and fish and chips. Not exactly the pinnacle of health food.

My first exposure to this was at University where my institution had an exchange programme with UCLA. Got to love the American students who introduced me to the delights of peanut butter cups, MDMA and 8 ball. But no, not this.
