I put a thick sock over my hand to give my shoes a final polish and have a lovely Lidl tea caddy I use to store my watches, who else uses things for odd purposes ?

Classic car one. Cut 1/4 in. off the lower end of an S. U. HS2 dash pot. Add a large washer and a G clamp.

Result: the perfect kit for pressing in MGB brake caliper seals.

Works on many other disc setups.

But I imagine it has a detrimental effect on the SU carb?
