Parcours Disc Wheel
Discussion
Hi everyone,
Just a quick question with respect to the Parcours disc wheel (https://www.parcours.cc/collections/all-our-wheels)
Has anyone used it and if so, what is the quality and performance like?
I have my heart set on a HED Jet disc and HED Jet 9 Plus. However for the same money I could have a Parcours disc AND Chrono wheelset for less (I could use the Chrono wheelset for my road bike and share the front wheel with my TT bike)
What do we reckon? I was initially drawn to the HED JETS as after much research they strike me as a very good quality wheelset with fantastic aero and nicely made hubs.
Kind regards,
Matt

I'm currently saving for their crono wheelset for my P3. I've been really impressed by the reviews and their after sales seems pretty reliable as they're trying to make a name for themselves. The 220 tri review on the different wheelsets was the deal clincher for me - the crono came second. I'm sure the disc would be pretty decent if they've bothered making one, but have no personal experience.
Can't compare as I haven't ridden those, but I've had a pair of carbon speed cycle Chinese wheels for 18 months now which have been perfectly fine and the parcours are a huge step up in quality, stiffness and finish.
I'm waiting on some valve extenders from wiggle then hope to give some feedback, but saw a set on a P2 at Wells triathlon and the athlete said they "went well".
A big plus has been the superb Q&A and customer service from parcours in answering any questions I had before I ordered.

Any opinion on a Parcours Disc / Chrono combo compared to a Campag Bora Ultra 50?
Are the Parcours hubs & bearings top notch?
Tim
What are you racing? Parcours Disc/Chrono will be much quicker than your 50mm wheelset - if you look at the Triathlon 220 review, they compared the Chrono with the Enve 7.8s (a £3k wheelset) and the Chronos only marginally lost. Are the Parcours hubs & bearings top notch?

The hubs are Taiwanese designed/manufactured with up-rated cartridge bearings for UK conditions I believe.

I think Campagnolo do some interesting products however as a prospective buyer I don't see the benefits of their wheels compared to the competition. https://youtu.be/T9Tc6BPOLgE?list=UUR8ASXXdLo78hJx...
