What did I see on the M6 this morning

Saw 4 unmarked vehicles heading north around Birmingham this morning. All 4 were hauling ass with blue lights and sirens:

VW van
Audi Q7
2x VW Golfs

They were all spaced 1-2 mins apart

If around Birmingham, very likely they were chasing a stolen Audi S/RS or Golf R.

I've seen similar on the M42 - can only remember the VW van (old style in VW light blue) but altogether at least half-a-dozen vehicles, again spread over a few mins.

I would guess if they all had blues/sirens they are emergency service vehicles and/or military.
