Look at my hole & tell me what you think...

I want to fit a dropper post to my Cube Reaction GTC, the top tube is cable free & I'd like to keep it that way so I was looking at how to route the cable through the seatpost.
There's an indented, cable sized hole in the bottom of the frame just behind the crank, further in it narrows to a c.2mm hole & if I shine a light through it's visible when viewed through the seat tube.
So would I be correct in assuming it'd be ok to drill it out by another couple of mm to route a cable through?

It could then be routed up the bottom tube with the rear brake line.

It seems like an obvious thing to do but I'm still oddly reluctant to take a drill to my carbon frame!
(Disclaimer: Bike isn't clamped , just balanced in the jaws of the stand & no carbon fibre was harmed in the production of this post)
