My throttle pedal has always been a bit floppy, I'm kinda used to it but does anyone know what spec the return spring is? And where I can get one from?

I could be wrong but I doubt there is a "spec" for it. Just measure the length you need and try a few different ones until you find one with the "feel" you like.

Yes I had the feeling it would be something like that. I'll have to take the old off and see what I can get to match.

You can also add extra springs at the butterfly end (at least on a V8).

Thanks - but I think the pedal spring itself is just worn. If I can contort myself under the pedal and get it off I'll get a replacement made if not off the shelf

Oh the pedal return spring....You may need to photograph the old one as it could be any shape...Not sure what TVR used for the pedal boxes?

Do you know where I would get one from? (Once I have established what it looks like, or what it should look like)

There's no spring at the throttle pedal end on either of my cars, and no facility for fitting one.
