Wireless Phone Charging Tray - Doesn't work?

iPhone X owner here, Apple have finally caught up with the whole wireless charging malarky.
Tried it in my 991.2 GTS last night, but doesn't work? I was under the impression that Porsche uses QI for its wireless charging, and also that it comes as standard with 991.2; it certainly isn't a option to tick.
Anyone else got it to work, be it with an iPhone 8/X or Android?

The wireless feature is for connection to the vehicle's antenna's; not for charging - the USB port is for charging......
