I've been a bit of an bit of an idiot.

I seem to have ordered something, the house number, street name, city and county are all correct. Post code is incorrect.

What is likely to happen to what I have ordered? Arrive? Lost in the ether?

I'm in trouble with current Miss. sc0tt now, as they are\were wedding invitations.

It will end up at yours eventually.

Whilst the automatic mail sorters will initially send it to the postcode shown on the address, eventually, someone will have to pick it up to put it in a postbox and realise they are in the wrong town or whatever, and get it to you manually.

It'll probably get to you.

How's it being delivered, courier or post?

It has been 2 weeks now... How long would you guesstimate?

2 weeks since they were posted or 2 weeks since you ordered them?

I wouldn't have expected it to take 2 weeks from posting even with such an error.

Consider yourself lucky:
It would have been wrong to marry your sister anyway.

Give them a ring. Do you not have a tracking number?
Otherwise you could ring supplier and enquire as its probably been sent back.

No tracking number was provided.

Supplier advised that they haven't been sent back. I

Have you enquired at the postcode the package was addressed to?

Some post codes can be very similar at first glance?

For example L and LL

In my experience the final delivery postal employee does not actually look at the post code.

They use guess work to deliver the mail it appears to me.

Your mum doesn't want the wedding to go ahead. She's binned them. Sorry.
