Dad has into his bird watching for a long time and has decided to take the plunge and buy a spotting scope. He has 10x magnification on his binoculars but that's the limit of what he can hold steady so wants more magnification on a tripod mount.

Does anyone have any experiences with these?

I have a 22x60 opticron that I used when I had my rifle for target shooting indoors. I paid about £150 for it a few years ago. Wanna make me an offer for it?

FWIW, I just inherited a Swift 15x15-60 Telemaster spotting scope, and I'm *very* pleased with it.

All I need now is the appropriate camera adaptors for it.

Dad says thanks for the offer, but he's looking at scopes a bit higher up in the range.

Thanks for the links guys, I'll pass them on so he has more sites to look at!
