Selling a GT Porsche via OPC
Discussion
Can anyone comment on the kind of deal that an OPC would do on selling a GT Porsche on Sale or Return? The car is a 991 GT3RS. The OPC would be the original supplying dealer. Do they charge a flat fee or a percentage? Will they push for a better price than an independent? Would an OPC command a better price than an independent?
Any information based on knowledge would be welcome.
Thank you.

As mentioned best thing to do is call your OPC. I have just put mine up and I can say the cost my OPC is charging is less than 10% (flat fee).
Selling via the OPC will help maintain your relationship.
In terms of price achieved, I think most will argue that you can probably achieve a slight premium with an OPC especially if its a slightly older car as they will give a new 2 year warranty.

They will SOR usually 10%
I can assure you the rate an OPC will charge you for SOR is a fraction of 10% unless its an older much less valuable model which requires the standard 118 point check, remedial body work and a full two year OPC warranty.
The spread(trade vs retail) on a sought after GT Porsche is no more than 10% and you get the money upfront with no hassle or risk involved. With SOR the OPC has no money tied up and all the risk is taken by the car's owner.
Sold my 991.1GT3, earlier in the year, back to the supplying dealer, it was then advertised plus 11% over the price I received. I would assume that is pretty much standard and was less than I would have expected, ie their mark up would have been more. Don’t know the final sale price, but again guess they wouldn’t haggle down very much.
