Built in Blackpool, 1991. After that it gets a bit vague wink

It's SORN, MOT to 18 Oct 2018 and grey according to the DVLA vehicle check, doesn't tell you anything more of interest though.

A J reg means it's one of the later ones which is encouraging. The top half looks very tidy.

£11,000 guide price + 12% buyers premium would be a cheap V8S.

Looks like the photo's were taken on the forecourt of a Nr. Dorking based TVR Dealer, so if they are not prepared to retail there must be a good reason especially considering how rare S3 V8's are.

Other big name dealers are trading S3 V6's! Don't forget about buyers premiums at Auctions.

In 2016 I looked at a 15500 mile 1 owner 4.3BV Griffith, at a well known highly regarded auction house and I consided that the car needed virtually a rebuild. That was a total dissapointment from what I was expecting to see.

My advise is tread carefully and try and "Check the cars History", given by the Auction House.

The same auction house sold another V8S for £12k earlier this year. This one looks and scores better but NEVER buy at auction without checking for yourself or having a survey done.

Very rare indeed!

I wonder what V8 has been installed?

Passed the MoT on 19/10/17 with 2 advisories:

Oil leak

Nearside Front tyre is low on the inner edge

Present owner only had it since June this year.

This one went for £9020 at the classic show (April?):

It was in March 2016 they sold one for £12k:

Brightwells sold one for £10k in June with 51k miles on it. no link to individual cars but they're in alphabetical order here:

Sorry Oldplod, I was being a bit facetious:

It's a V8S, not an S3 V8. ( I think! ) Wider track than an S3, modified chassis, and rear disc brakes as standard factory fitted.

Glen,I see that now Doh! Always spoils a joke when it needs to be explained to the hard of thinking!
Anyway thanks to the information provided we now know that the car interior is fairly tired and would need a lot of TLC and that The car has indeed been through the garage mentioned above but for repairs only rather than as a sale car.
This is a great forum where helpful people chip in with wee nuggets here and there.
