You can find them everywhere, Uncle Henry is just one, do a google for porsche independant dealers, a list wiht about 20 independants should appear.
Things to look for , DMF, distributor vented, and as you say oil leaks.
Don't worry about the engine being slightly damp, mine dosen't leak on the floor, but does have the very ocaisional damp spot.
Condition is king, good paintwork is something you should look further than, history is important, trusted specialists etc.
kevin.
Oh and try Rennlist etc some wise old sages over there

Try www.911uk.com quite a few different porsche dealers on there.
Get a thorough inspection by a porsche specialist garage before you buy, it could be the best £100 you ever spend.

a good 964....is a thing of beauty.
many many posts on 964 probs, much debate, use the site search engine an you'll have a days worth of reading material.
consider spending £20 on adrian crawford's downloadable buyers guide for the 964. it wont turn you into an expert but it will show you the areas to watch for and then when you get a good independent to inspect your car you will have a better idea of what he/she is talking about.
or if £20 is too much then go to Hartech's website where there is a free downloadable pdf file on what to look out for in the whole porsche line-up

Joel has one at www.rsjsportscars.co.uk
Looks tidy. He's had it for a little while as his customer base has gone up market, all 996s and Boxsters these days. As such, you could get a good car for a good price.
Just a thought.
Edited to add that it's not on his website but he may still have it, so give him a call.
