Can anyone here tell me what's happening with the Tuscan challenge track cars, are they still factory fitted with the AJP8 at the moment?

Will they be so for the foreseeable future, or have rule changes or new TVR management changed things - reason I'm asking trying to get a feel for the long term spares situation for this engine from a possible Cerbera owners point of view, if you guys are still racing using the AJP8 then there must still be a lot of spares about on the market.

except there's precious little in common with the AJP race engine and the cerb road engine. Different block, crank etc....

But there are enough cerbs around that second hand spares, at least, shouldn't be an issue (although they ain't always cheap). Bell Hill and Douglas Valley typically have a few cerbs being broken for spares.

Now the Tuscan racers own their engines; what happens when they blow up? Will TVR still rebuild them for you?
