A speeding ticket?

NIP for 'Driving without due care and attention'?

NIP for 'mobile phone use'?

A traffic jam?

An extortionate insurance quote?

A PCP agreement?

A parking fine?

A 'congestion charge'?

A German saloon on PCP?

A permit for parking outside your home?

A 'smart motorway'?.........

Average speed limits.

Road works.

Driving is incredible fun.

Do 'petrol heads' exist on four wheels?

Top of my Christmas list is tools, vintage Snap On spanners, a decent Multimeter, JIS screwdrivers, proper mole grips, vernier callipers. Or vintage motorcycling, motoring books.

Another good present is a Leatherman, I’ve had my Leatherman Wave for years, it’s got me out of all sort of scrapes.

Back to the OP...

- Car driving experience thing
- Model car (1/18 size)

What car do they drive? What's their dream car?

Why not just get them the Top Gear/Jeremey Clarkson Christmas DVD. Seems to be the default option for someone whose a "petrol head"

My advice, would be to ask them if they had anything I mind. Even as someone who watches F1/MotoGP I don't want anything related to them or cars fro christmas

£175 a night for two adults would give the OP £25 change from his £200 - assuming he meant £100 a head. If not, there are plenty of less expensive alternatives in the Weybridge/Shepperton/Chertsey area.
