CP4L have a good price on Dansk back boxes, but have listed them incredibly specifically as for the 40th Anniversary model. Will they fit my 3.4 ? Are they the stupidly loud ones that nobody likes ?

I bought mine earlier this year from CP4L ('99 C4 manual coupe). Fitted very well, as expected, at a good price too. Also had the fitting kit at just less than £30. When you go on their website (not eBay site) and put your reg no. in it should bring up those 'sport' boxes which I've got and when when you apply the discount code they are £571. I didn't go for the 'super sport' so don't know how loud they really are, but very happy with mine.
Also, I have never before bought exhausts which come in their own cloth carry bag and with a supplied duster ! biggrin

The eBay listing says the boxes will fit 3.4 and 3.6 models.
The 40th anniversary did not come with specific exhausts so these should be fine.

Ah, and if you go to the ECP website it comes to £558.99 ! And apparently my local branch has them in stock. That's tempting...

Yes it is strange as I believe they are the same company. It all depends on which discount codes are being offered at the time at the two sites. Not heard of any mention of regular failing of flexi's when I was deciding which to go for, mine have been fine nearly a year later. I was more concerned about the bracket welds and they looked to be better quality than some of the cheaper options. Go get em' and enjoy biggrin They are an easy fit too.

I was going to say the internals. Either way, I expected better from the company that makes OEM Porsche exhausts. When my current set get too rattley I'll take them somewhere to be taken apart and put back together rather than buying a new set.
