4 month ban instead of 6 points
Discussion
Today I have recieved a 4 month ban from driving for no insurance rather than 6 points on my license, as I only passed my test in april I understand that the 6 points would have resulted in an automatic revokation anyway? Now I am wondering am I better off with the 4 month ban when I come to get insured again? Also I know I shouldn't have been driving without insurance but I didn't come on here to get a scolding as I have recieved enough of that from both my parents and the courts..
Many thanks

What was the date you were stopped? What is the story behind the lack of insurance? Many thanks

Have you got any points on your licence ?
" No but I've been banned for 4 months "

Secondly - you will have a clean license, but when it comes to answering "have you had any driving convictions in the last 5 years" and you answer "Yes" (Because you'll have learned from your mistakes and be 100% honest). The insurers will either a) laugh you out of the internet or b) slowly slide down your trousers and insert a multiple thousand pound sized dildo inside your a
hole. HTH.

lol I know it looks so bad but I was just wondering why my barrister suggested to the judge to offer me the ban rather than 6 pointsBuster73 said:

It does sound like the OP was trying to do the right thing.
I'm pretty sure that the ban is still a far better option than getting the six points and having to resit the driving test with all the attendant palaver and I doubt that the insurance aspect will be any worse than if he had received the six points - it's not like he's been done for drink or dangerous driving, is it?
