Unwanted boot opening MB C180

For the fourth time in two years I have found the boot of my car had opened without my asking it to. I have looked on line and this seems to be a problem others have too.

It is not that I am accidentally pushing the key button and it usually takes at least a one second press to operate the boot latch.

One report said that the driver took his car to Mercedes dealer who 'updated the software' which resulted in the boot not closing!

Anyone else got this problem and is there an answer?
