I have one of the small aluminium Porsche LED torches, where you unscrew the bottom cover and plug into a 12V accessory outlet to charge. It charged perfectly well in my 997 Turbo but I have recently replaced that with a new Panamera 4 E-Hybrid. The torch does not charge from the 12V outlet in in the centre armrest compartment. The socket is working as it will charge my iPhone with an adapter and the adapter power indicator ring lights up. Also to check there is power from the socket, you can turn the torch on (if the battery is very low) and it will light up at full power if the socket is working - it doesn't. I have checked the torch is chargeable by plugging it into the 12V socket on my wife's Abarth and it lights up faint violet, showing it is charging. Anyone else got one of these torches and a Panamera Mk.2 to see if this is my car/torch or a universal problem.

Just bought one for my son to go into his new 991.2. The blue charging light does show when plugged into a live socket. Same problem in my Bentley Continental so I sent it back and ordered a replacement. Same problem with the second torch. Obviously not compatible.
