I'm not sure what to get for my second car

I drive a small engine diesel now and have for almost two years. I'm after another diesel but looking at the 1.9 vag cars like the vrs fab or Ibiza fr or the 1.7 corsa sri. I'm not looking at leasing or financing anything new and want to pay ~£4K max. Biggest killer for me is the insurance so that is a big factor also

Also I travel 20 miles each way along the motorway, any suggestions?

Consider a 120d, I have had so many cars over the years and still think the 120d was up there as one of the most enjoyable.

RWD, enough power to never feel slow and not too much so you have to work it a bit when pressing on so it is enjoyable.

Take a look at these they are okay on the insurance side of things, they have a very good 1.9 engine, they also have a 6 speed box which will be good for the motorway.
