Edit: If you get onto The ImageWorks (Nottingham?), they have the templates to laser-cut perfect replicas of the original 'Tasmin' logos and stripes... in any colour you like!

It was smart for about a month, until some ar53pipe decided it would look better with a 2 foot scratch across the roof, down to the primer 
I sold it on 2001 to a guy called Mark, whose surname I forget, but he drove up from Hants. to collect it.
He planned to sprint it, but I think he decided it was outclassed, and the last I heard it was in bits awaiting conversion to a Tasmin Challenge car.
I have seen a Tas racer that looks suspiciously like the same coloour, but it's hard to tell from photos.
Anyone reading this know where DBB132V (chassis 5036) is these days...?

It was painted by a guy who specialises in custom paint-jobs on pedal- and motor-cycles, crash helmets etc.
I used him as he had experience of working with GRP (stress cracks etc.), which a lot of bodyshops don't have.
The car was stripped of doors, bonnet, spoiler, valance, sills, pods etc. so it was about a 97% respray: only the bottom of the engine bay didn't get touched. Various scrapes and dings were repaired, the electric aerial hole was filled etc. etc.
He went as far as repairing cracks and chips in the sills, which you couldn't even see under the car! I've seen plenty of his other work and it's spot-on.
I suppose if you wanted a same-colour repaint with most panels staying on, the cost might be lower.
However I can recommend NOT going for a pearlescent finish as there aren't enough curves on a wedge to make it work properly...

Currently installing my "VERY LOUD" radio, the first stage anyway...4off JBL 6x9's (replacing the OEM panasonic pooh in the boot/parcel shelf area, and 2off in the footwells in plenty of MDF) and a 4channel amp behind the passenger seat. the 6x9's only go down to 50hz so ultimatly going to add a sub in the spare wheel well so i can make out (feel)the final bass notes on Saint-Saens Symphony No 3 from Liverpool cathedral......with the bass pipe at 8hz....
when I'm stuck in a queue on UK Gridlock Plc...sorry the queens highway. Does this make me a chav? even if i abhor "dance" "music"?

No, I just rolled it into the shop and stripped it. Glen did the work, then we put it back together between us. Ironically, on the way home I got stuck behind a gritting truck...
Bear in mind this was 1999, his rates may have changed...

Sounds like you have my kind of luck re the gritter, thanks for the info its about time my s1 got the face lift it so richly deserves. I might take my 350fhc to BBWF to show you all the worst looking wedge that is still on the road, i think even your man Glen would refuse to prep it

Haha - I just wanna be able to hear the news on the one in the Tiv. I'm having too much fun driving to bother with anything else.
The quality hi-fi goes in my daily driver, which is getting changed soon anyway.(Kenwood in that one)
I do like LOUD though, as even though I'm now a 'grumpy old man', I still like my Black Sabbath, Hendrix, and even TECHNO (!),Mary J Blige, but not dance thanks. Don't mind Basement Jaxx.
