A highly unusual Mercedes 540K

At some level any 540K is unusual, but I had never seen one with this body style. It is at the Gilmore Museum in Kalamazoo Michigan, which has a number of spectacular cars including another 540K special roadster...:

Herman Goering certainly owned several and his infamous 'Blue Goose' armoured 540K roadster now resides in the USA.
