Looking to pick up on a few winter bargains so hunting around for Bib shorts. I have a couple of pairs of Morvelo shorts, which I rate above a pair of Castelli shorts that I have.

Looking around, DHB Aeron get good reviews, I could buy another pair of Morvelo at £95 but Decathlon are also knocking out BTwin 900 shorts at £40 which seem to on the whole, get an excellent review.

Do I just stick with what I know or are there some real bargains to be had that i'm missing out on?

I rate my dub arerons highly.

The btwin ones? Not for longer rides I'm afraid. Mind, they were 20 quid so can't moan much.

That Rivelo stuff looks very tasty and well priced. I quite like understated british design over race rep stuff. 14 day returns which is a bit short but I guess i'll just have to try and return as soon as if not suitable. Wiggle 365 is amazing though and probably spoils people as they can just hang on to kit.

Lusso.bike gets some fantastic reviews on Bib shorts, in cycling weekly mega Bibshort test this year Lusso came top beating Rapha, Assos, Castelli etc. and they are all made in the UK

I keep seeing these when the Sport Pursuit emails come through and wondered about them.

Got some earlier this year, comfy pad but found them v. warm in the summer as the material was slightly thicker/heavier than all the other bibs I've got.

Don't be fooled by the faux sale pricing, I paid £49.99 plus p&p which appears to be a regular price.

Bought a few bits of Rivelo gear as I really liked the designs. Hoping the fit is good, if not then it's an experiment and I can return them.
