997 gt 3 side air vent removal

I have a slight rattle, seems to be coming from the passenger side air vent. Has anyone removed the air vent. If so many tips

it may the gear lever gaiter .. try pushing the U shaped bottom bit down hard when you hear the rattle

Have you checked the dashboard speaker covers right near the base of the windscreen?

Not removed a vent myself but I have taken my dashboard apart chasing rattles
