Thanks for the reply!Not very confident would be the straight answer! I was afraid it may involve equipment that I do not have; I'll only be charged £106, if at all, when I hand the car back so it may just not be worth doing.
If I just wanted to get rid of the yellow wall paint would some polish do the job, or do I need something specific?

Quite the opposite actually. Max charge by BMW is £104 to have the whole panel repainted when I hand back. Bargain!garyhun said:

Hhmmm ...... How big is this panel? Is it not a whole bumper?I can't see BMW only charging £104 for a whole bumper!

It's been discussed on one of the PCP threads and confirmed by people handing their cars back. I also have the repairs cost list - you can also download from the BMW website. Cost to respray a panel is £106 and a bumper is £104. Curbed alloys are only about £40 each.
These prices are less than I could achieve anywhere myself.
In addition, I was at my dealer yesterday and was informed that on many occasions the assessors don't even bother to mark up the damage that's outside normal wear and tear. They simply take the car straight to auction and let you off completely. This also confirmed by customers in the PCP threads.
So I'll hand the car back and expect a bill of around £200 for a bumper respray and repair to 2 curbed alloys. Happy days!

That's wot I thought when returning a corsa with a few scrapes etc, when the inspector asked me to sign the form for the damage there was 2 boxes to tick,1 to accept the damage and cost and other box to decline.
