1568L tax code ? Why ?
Discussion
Starting a new job in Jan 18 (PAYE) and my P45 states 1568L as my last tax code when I left PAYE employment in April 2017.
For the life of my I can't remember why this was such an "exotic" tax code rather than the usual 1150L type.
Would it be because I was making large pension contributions at the time (up to the £40k yearly limit?) ?
How would I reinstate a "normal" tax code as I won't be making large contributions for a couple of years ?
Thx for any help !
