For how much longer will you have to put up with me?

or

Will you enjoy my company for long?

https://www.confused.com/life-insurance/life-expec...

I did the exercise for a 25 year old man doing everything wrong - he will get to 55.

A 25 year old woman doing everything right should get to 97.

Me? 91.

I'm 89, Mrs PR 91.

Doesn't take any medical history into account though, so the actuaries are still safe!

Although it "only" drops by 4 years if I were to eat lots of fried or fatty foods... scratchchin ... sounds like a good payoff hehe

I think posting in The Lounge gives you about five years longer than posting in NP&E.

75. I'm hoping to die younger. That's still too old to be fun.

Turns out being happy and having a good social group carries more weight that five fruit and veg per day...

Anyway, I have an extremely grumpy 40+ years still to go apparently.

Well that's a waste of thirty seconds I'll never get back! hehe

Both of my parents are still alive (one over 75, the other not), but surely asking about grandparents would cover a wider range of the population?

On top of that, one outdated question about diet - no mention at all of carb intake, for example - means that the whole exercise is pointless....

Plus how the hell do I know if I've got a good social network? What yardstick am I supposed to measure that against?
