ok, I've been quiet long enough. Been distantly watching PH from the shadows, seeing as I prefer action to talk. Riding/driving to whinging about it. I have such tales I could tell, but in the light of the new political correctness.. maybe not huh?

What's going on? seems like we've become infiltrated by camerati and politico's determined to undermine us from within.

Street becomes a cam-man. And others seem set to follow. More moaning about limits, so little done about it. Where's all the innovation gone, all the talk about other stuff - rather than "poor me" ?

What have I really missed in the last month or so?

Let's face it, if people are going to fade away, do it with good grace & don't ask people if you should. Just do it. Street, been nice talking to you, but if you're gonna defect... are you really going to show discretion? or just think about the overtime? think I had you figured out from the start.

Deltaf, we have things to discuss. As do any of you other people who care about the roads future.

Dave: I'm so sorry.

I care very much about the roads future and the wellbeing of all who use them Carl, and I would love to be able to play more of a part in making things better. Of course I have my own ideas about the way to proceed, but the difficult bit is finding sufficient support and then making it happen.

BTW, which Dave are you referring to, and why are you so sorry?

Best wishes all,
Dave.

After being dragged to court for 79mph on the M180, I'm up for action.

Let me know.

Hi Carl

Did you ever evaluate the, er, stump pulling power of that truck you bought?

TripleS (Dave!), you weren't the Dave I referred to. I was thinking of Petrol Ted. I'm sorry that things have turned out like they have, but I guess it's just a sign of the times. But cheers for posting, and best regards. Send me an email. I'll collect it from my work address tomorrow as I have dropped my home connection.

Superflid: action is needed, true. But sometimes soto vocce. 'scuse my spelling there. It's meant to be quite voice in latin or something similar. The idea being that a protest can have many forms, including paint or expanding foam. ;-)

All: I'd like to say it's been interesting, but the last few months haven't. Gotta cast out the trolls & plants, and get back to having FUN ! or do you think that's not possible anymore?

see ya around peeps. I'll be watching the watchers.

Hello Herts. Streetcop has resigned from ph in light of his last thread. Thought you have been a bit quiet.
I think the negativity is on the wane now, it tends to go in fits and starts doesn't it.

Saying that I have had some excellent advice from the medical types over my daughter's recent snags. It's hard to find a better place with such a wide range of knowledge - guess we all muck in to help out, and yes, there are a few who are in it to raise the temperatures a bit - but I suppose that is human nature.

chilled Mike.

If you've got something interesting to say then say it, it's far better than whinging about people whinges

Political correctness? Not sure what you're referring to there.

Carl, you seem really glum. I have felt like leaving PH a few times in the past year, but have felt better after a day or two's reflection. People can be really annoying and disappointing at times and I appreciate your despondency. It seems like your feelings are somewhat deep rooted. Hopefully you will find fun out there on the road.

Best wishes

Emma

He's not glum, hes's like me; Totally pissed off at the lack of action we should all be taking to rid ourselves of this perpetual scamera orientated bullshit.

First it was "accident blackspots" now its Motorways.
Isnt anyone else here gonna get the hump and help to take these bastards out?
Or are we all just gonna be armchair critics?
