plug extenders

HI lad,s can any of you help me out ,i have changed the extenders for socks but since i have changed them the car sometimes takes a while to fire up ,sometime will not fire at all,if you do away with the extenders do you have to change to another type of plug ,any help would be great as i don,t want to put the plug extenders back on , many thanks paul

I dumped the extenders for socks with no problem.

Double check you have put them on properly they are quite tight to get on you should feel a definite movement when they go on.
The plugs shouldn't need changing.

I did, but nothing to do with changing to socks.

Some report problems with removing the extenders and using a non resistive plug, I think I put a set of BPR6ES in my Chim instead of the standard B7ECS.
Lots of stuff about it if you search for extender removal.

That's what I put in mine, but for the extended electrode and slightly hotter rather than specifically because I'd put socks on.
