M5 Touring love affair continues

Had the M5 in for a tidy up and a few details:

Front bumper re-sprayed
Kidney and side grills sprayed contrasting body coloured / frozen black
Black M5 badge
Detailed + ppf on back bumper
Engine steam cleaned
Full wheel refurb

Oh, and the engine cover done to match the Indianapolis red leather

Very nice.

I’ve been thinking about swapping my B5 RS4 for one but it’s just been too much fun as a daily, covering the odd bit of rough ground. Your’s is making me think again, maybe I should start using the van more for work duty and make the switch. Also would look nice next to the Z4M and tick another M engine off the bucket list.

You won't regret it as its such a special car! And you won't bump into another with only 128 left driving around the uk!

Can't help feel I missed out on these as fast estates are achingly cool imo and n/a V10 is just insane really in a family car.

Have you had any suspension mods/wheel spacers? Seems to be sitting quite low and moody.

Lowered at the front 35mm on h&r (which actually lowers it 25mm - sls at the rear)

13mm spacers all round.

Lovely. Just checked eBay prices and way out of my budget.

What do you need to do to a standard E60 estate to get it looking the same? Don't need 4 exhausts though. Is the suspension lower?

This was the 535d msport I had before, to most very similar. But purists will notice that the M5s front arches and track are swollen, the valance is fog free and the wheels are bbs 19" with a lovely concave. The quad pies are a bit of a give away too but really, it'll be the lack of a V10 howl as you warp away from the lights that'll really give the game away!
