seat ibiza for new driver

Sawmiss is a new driver (taking her test in a couple of weeks) , having had some interesting quotes to add her to my insurance, I am looking at adding a small/cheap car to the stable. Typically she would really like a fiat 500, but I am thinking something disposable might be a better 1st option. A 2005 ibiza 1.2 has caught my eye in AT, she has been learning in a current ibiza, so I am thinking that may be a selling point for my cheap skate idea.

Any issues with these, it seems they have a timing chains rather than belts, so thats good, right!
the one I have seen looks to have a pretty clean MOT history.
Any particular gotchas with these?

The long game might be to then trade it up to a 500 if fiat do another scrappage deal next year,
