Selling a car privately (Newbie advice wanted)
Discussion
With a fair amount of nervousness I'm about to embark on my first (and hopefully last) attempt at selling a car privately.
I have thought of a few options and I'm guessing it's going to be an online selling site.
Apart from not releasing the car until funds have cleared what are the other must do's to selling a car privately?
I have looked at the Auto Express tips page Link but just wondered what additional steps need to be taken.
Thanks in advance

dont get suckered into any third party delivery /collection agent talk
keep an eye on any inspections , theres a scam now where one will keep you talking while another dumps oil into the coolant , then they discover the oily coolant and haggle a bargain price
print out a receipt with time and date on it and get it signed , make sure you send the paperwork away asap

Well,
Looking at Auto Trader, I'm looking at around 3k. I haven't seen any E92 330i 's at that price point.
The drag is the mileage (157k) apart from that it's been main dealer maintained regardless of cost.
However the hassle factor is deciding if a grand (assuming it goes for top wack) Is worth the hassle
