As the title really. Would be for a 14 year old so no 18 certificates.

Bundle already comes with GT sport.

What’s the view on current great games for PSVR ?

Batman is good but short, which is a common theme.
Star Trek Bridge Crew.
Superhot
Job Simulator is entertaining.
Arizona Sunshine (zombie shooter)

You'll need to check out how suitable you think they are. I've not played most on PSVR but Vive/OR but the nasic content should be the same. Also get the Worlds/demo disc loads of cool stuff and freebie downloads as well.
Star Wars BF has some VR content and goes Gran Turismo.Sport

Thanks folks. Do you need the wand things to play any of these ? (as we don't have them so it would be a bit embarrassing on Xmas Day :-))

Get the wands they are pretty much essential.
Assume you have the camera thing already or with the headset?

With this new price I'm really tempted.

I just wish they'd get their act together with a larger selection of full AAA games.

How's the new GT? Worth the punt?

I picked up GT for £18 in the sale which should be delivered tomorrow, i gather the VR content is a bit thin so i wouldnt get PSVR just for that. If your after driving games, Dirt Rally is brilliant in VR and its the full game. Also Driveclub which visually isn't that great but its actually pretty good to play, especially with a wheel and can be picked up for peanuts now.

Farpoint, you can aim through the sights on the gun! They so need to make an Aliens game using the aim controller, I would be full on Hudson.

The sense of scale in Skyrim is really impressive, however I've not got my head around the controls yet and I strongly suspect I'm the most effeminate sword swinger ever.

Well, the VR went down a storm on Xmas day :-)

Didn't manage to get the Move controllers. They seem out of stock everywhere unless you want to pay stupid money.

Also couldn't find Farpoint with the controller bundle in stock either....

So we are limited so far to the VR disc that came with it, GT Sport, the Starwars X fighter episode and VR demo's. We bought Superhot thinking it would work with std controllers but it doesn't, so we're just waiting for the move controllers to come back into stock.

I'm assuming we need the bundle of 2 to get most use out of VR ??

I'm actually impressed with the immersion factor. Ok the graphics aren't up to the current HD standards we've come to expect, but certainly for the GT sport bits that you can play in VR & the Star Wars episode......its great (although I did get some motion sickness in Star Wars as I was looping around the star destroyer hunting TIE fighters :-))

Just picked up farpoint with the aim controller. Not the best game but I'm loving the dynamics of using the gun. This has got to be the future for FPS surely?

I downloaded Moss this weekend. The immersion is fantastic and the concept works really well. From the reviews, it’s probably only 4 hours worth of playtime and I’m 30 mins in already.

This level of interaction & novel gameplay is what I was hoping for with VR. Brilliant !
