Larger Rear Screen?
Discussion
I'v read some post on here about a revised larger rear perspex screen that fit better and actually prevents water pouring in (how novel).
I tried to get in touch with the guy who said he was supplying but no response - does anyone know where these can be found - there was a picture of a tinted version too.
p.s. I'm sure my dealer can supply but I'm afraid to ask the price...

A PH member called 'RCA' , or Richard being his real name used to supply these. I don't know if he still does or not. They used to be around £80 for a brand new clear screen, about £20 for tinted.
TVR changed the rear window around 2002 to make it just a little bit bigger - I therefore got one. However, it is actually a very tight fit and needs to be positioned exactly right otherwise you may not be able to do the clips up at all. I also found, in typical TVR fashion, that the bigger window's shape was just a little bit out to get good seals around it. I mentioned it to TVR when my car was in for a service at the factory, and they got it to fit better by softening it in situ with a heat gun! I find the bigger one too fiddly for getting it in and out easily, therefore have really stuck to using the old one and keeping this as a spare or if the car is in a car show.

My old one was tinted dark to match my windows, (check my profile for photo), but it went bye bye thanks to a broken clip, (look up Important Tuscan advice!!! in the forum if you want a laugh), so any local window tinting outfit will be able to make a clear one any colour and darkness you like!

Not a problem with mine, so go 4 it!
Have rung around a few tinting places and they seem to be wary about putting the tinting film onto the perspex screen, saying that they think it would not come up with the correct finish. Where did you get yours done and did they try to warn you off as well?
Was already done when i bought the car. Admittedly, the rear window was a very slightly different shade to the side windows, but not a huge difference. Mine were very dark though, so dark in fact that i`ve removed the film altogether now and gone `natural`. If you`re only having a light tint done, there shouldn`t be a problem.
