Can anyone suggest some decent and fairly priced wiper blades for an 07 V8V. I'd prefer the aero blade style. I've struggled to find anything at all that fits other than at Aston. Their blades are last century style and super expensive.

I've bought several sets from the bay but the vendors don't have a clue about what fits. End up with free blades as they refund but that's not the point as I can't use them.

Thanks

Thanks telum

That's the problem with the UK sites. The sizing of the driver blade is always either too long or too short. In this case too long at 26''

If they are long can't they be trimmed to length?

Thanks rovcallum. Figured I could buy some to relevant length but not 100% on connectors. Arms look standard hooks to me who knows. Figured there must be UK based folks who have bought blades and know they fit. The US ones would be £40 delivered which is OK for modern look blades. Ideally if someone has bought for their UK car of similar age I'd prefer a recommendation though.

Can't see me cutting to length. Car is my pride and joy.

the expensive option is to upgrade arms and wipers to the 2012 onwards type, they are a few hundred pounds though......

A very long time ago on here, I can remember someone saying they found the exact blades in Halfords.
I think they were branded, possibly Bosch.

The trouble is, it us so difficult to find old topics on here.
Probably no help, but one never knows.

I use Bosch Icon blades on my MY09, in 20‘ and 24‘ length, best wipers I had so far and I tried a lot different ones.
Cheers

Well done. Your link does lead to the readable topic.

I sometimes wonder how I remember these old motoring details.
When walking up stairs, I need to concentrate on the reason for going up. - wink

That's because when you are walking up the stairs you are actually thinking about your Aston

Aero blades don't work on the early cars. Sometihng to do with the wiper arm springs not being strong enough. For replacement standard blades, just measure them then pop down to HellFrauds or similar motor factors and buy the Bosch ones. Its a simple two minute job to replace them - same as any other car. You may have to buy them individually - left and right as from memory there wasn't a twin pack of the correct length

I hope this isn't correct. I'd much prefer not to fit the old style blades. Hardly ever use the car in the rain but it needs to work. I assume if there is a problem its with blade lift at higher speeds? Anyone know what higher speed means - if it's 80mph+ then I can't say this will make any odds to me.

Have to say I've also struggled with the aero blades and now using the normal BOSCH ones, they work perfectly....
